Northern Flicker Rescue – California Wildlife Encounters

“Today I received a report of a Northern Flicker that was trapped upside down in a sycamore tree. The bird had been struggling for hours or even possibly days since it was found in a school yard this weekend. The bird was 40 feet high in the tree and a tree saw was used to rescue it. The ArmOR Hand Animal Handling Gloves are always used to provide protection not only for rescue personnel but for the animal’s safety as well.”
